Chemical Peels

Peelings consist of an exfoliation of the different skin layers, allowing a regeneration of the dermis. They act at different depths depending on their composition and concentration. They require a preparation 15 days before the procedure and a sun avoidance. During the consultation, the doctor will determine the most suitable peel for you, depending on the indication and the expected result.

  • Superficial peels: Based on glycolic acid, superficial peels are indicated to improve radiance, homogenise the complexion, tighten the pores and refine the skin texture. A "healthy glow" effect is guaranteed. Several peelings at 15 day intervals can be performed to obtain the desired effect, without social eviction.
  • Medium peels: Based on trichloroacetic acid (TCA), medium peels are indicated to reduce signs of skin ageing, improve skin texture, fade spots, reduce acne and smooth the skin surface. 3 peels at 15 day intervals are recommended. There may be a few days of social exclusion due to redness and scaling of the skin.
  • Deeper peels: For mature skin with marked signs of ageing and damaged by the sun and tobacco, a TCA + phenol peel can be performed. This peel reduces wrinkles, smoothes the skin surface and evens out the complexion. A single peel is often necessary, with a 5-day social eviction due to the redness and intense scaling of the skin.
